Dim Dim Sum Breeze Taipei Station Restaurant

Food was great. service was excellent. They don't have an English menu. Had to use a translator to place our order. Location was convenient since it was in Taipei Main Station. Get the congee and egg yolk custard buns.

Probably as good as the HK branch when I visited back in the 2010s. A few thoughts: - no xiaolongbao - some of the items like the fried noodle wrap are okay, but feel like fancier versions of a fried dumpling - the piggy custard bun is damned fun to eat, and probably the best custard bun I've had to boot Staff are terribly efficient. They get your food in, clean up as soon as you empty your basket. Solid choice if you're at Taipei main station.

In my opinion, Hong Kongese milk tea tastes a bit different from the typical milk tea because it’s creamier and even better than the typical ones. The chicken feet are good as always since it’s my favourite dish due to its savoury taste and special texture. Pork chops are delicious and the instant noodles with Xo sauce are also great. Edit (2 months after the last time coming): Steamed Cured Meat and XO Sauce Rice tasted so much better than the instant noodles I had 2 months ago. It was savoury and the XO sauce actually went much better with rice than noodles here. Deep-fried Sesame Balls With Salted Egg Custard tasted sweet, creamy and so delicious inside. The sesame coating was crunchy and there was also a thin glutinous layer inside that. Hong Kong Style Egg Tart had quite crispy texture and flavourful taste. In conclusion, the sesame balls was delivered a bit too late but my tastes buds were definitely satisfied. The price was moderate and there were usually long standing queues, especially on weekends. Overall, it’s a 9.5 out of 10!

Wow, what a find! Our first meal in Taipei couldn’t have been better. From top-notch service to delicious dishes, this spot had it all. Plus, they offer free-flowing drinking water, which is a bonus. If you’re looking for a recommendation, don’t miss out on their amazing instant noodles with tasty pork on top. Just show them the photo, and you’re all set! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Who knew that my favorite restaurant in Taipei would be in the train station! But, oh my god, the dim sum here is heavenly. The dishes are so fresh, flavorful, and the piggy custard buns(my favorite!). The buns were so fluffy and soft, and custard was so rich, sweet, and creamy and just melts in your mouth. The shrimp dumplings were also sooo yummy. The shrimp was fresh and the dumpling skin was chewy and thin, where you could really taste the shrimp. I love all the other dishes, but those two are the ones that stood out to me! Def check out this place because the food is sooo good.

Place: it is located at Taipei Main Station, very well decorated, good atmosphere with many seats. Food: we tried multiple meals and all of them were really delicious, also not too expensive. The penguin shaped dumpling was super cute Service: They fall short a little on this side, it was quite slow, and when we asked for a spicy sauce it never arrived. But overall I would recommend the place.
